To reward consistent attendance, Earned Leave (EL) will now be credited automatically based on monthly attendance.

What's new:

• Earned Leave eligibility is calculated from the month's attendance records.
• Eligible leave is automatically added to the employee's leave balance.
• Leave credits will appear in Zoho People within 72 hours after eligibility is achieved.
• No manual request or approval is required for eligible employees.

This update ensures a transparent and automated leave accrual process while recognizing consistent attendance.

Under new regulations like the EU AI Act, HR systems that use AI for hiring, screening, or employee evaluations must now prove: transparency, fairness, explainability and data protection.
